Description

Victoria is the new theatrical comedy written and directed by Marc Angelet and Cristina Clemente, with a stellar cast led by Amparo Larrañaga, Iñaki Miramón, Mar Abascal, and Juli Fàbregas. Tender, fierce, and profoundly relevant, Victoria portrays with humor and emotion the bonds between parents and children, inherited dreams, and the freedom to make mistakes. A story that demonstrates that, sometimes, to win, you have to know how to lose.

During the Eurocup final between Spain and Finland, a family gathers in Madrid to cheer on "La Roja" (the Spanish national team). However, the real turning point comes when Martín, the teenage son and promising football star, announces that he no longer wants to play. From that moment on, secrets, recriminations, and emotions erupt. Amidst laughter and moments of tenderness, Victoria transforms a family living room into a battleground where expectations, fears, and the need to let children spread their wings clash.

After the success of Laponia, Angelet and Clemente return with a standalone story that once again explores family dynamics with irony, rhythm, and plenty of truth. Victoria is a comedy about football, family, and dreams that don't always go according to plan, but also a funny and moving reflection on what it means to succeed in life.
