Description

The company proposes to dance these questions through a site-specific performance with live music in which the public is an integral part, just as it was in the tumult that was generated at the premiere of Consecration. A performance that dialogues with the space where it is inscribed, that asks from the formalist paradigm how much closer we can get to the plastic arts, to install our bodies in space. A performance in which the public, as soon as they do, realizes that it is always part of the choreography. "At Vladimir Tzekov we began to work with the intention of generating a consistent scenic language, which is not coherent, that energetically questions the certainties that society and culture have formed about it and about the life of the individual.

To do this, we founded the company in 2008 and we opened our own Laboratory of Scenic Action, in Granada.Always attending to the responsibility with the artistic research process that motivated us and using different scenic languages, in this time we have generated more than 20 shows shared with the public constantly; both in our room, and in different spaces and national and international festivals.

From the musical form as an ally to reality as an enemy; from a militant postmodernism to a libertarian resistance; from working to expand the limits of the scenic space to believing ourselves capable of taking over, with the stage as a weapon, the entire space. And we also want to take the time we need to investigate these objectives, we needed an artistic device that transcended (spatially, temporally and conceptually) the idea of a scenic piece, and so we are currently working on what we call Anti-Realistic Artistic Practices (PAARs)" .
