CentroCentro participates in a new edition of PHotoESPAÑA, hosting some of the main training and professional exchange activities that complement the festival's exhibition offerings.

PHotoESPAÑA presents in CentroCentro the PHotoESPAÑA PRO Talento a bordo programme, targeted at fostering the professional development of outstanding visual creators from Spain and abroad. This initiative makes it possible for around thirty photographers chosen previously in an open call to participate in two days of intense work sessions with prominent experts in the sector, like directors of museums and art centres, curators, gallery owners, publishers and collectors. These encounters will enable them to make professional
connections that may lead to exhibitions, publications and partnerships. The programme thus seeks to be a catalyst of new opportunities that ushers in a turning point in the participants’ artistic careers.

Activities open to all audiences are also included as part of the PHotoESPAÑA PRO Talento a bordo programme, like screening sessions in which the authors can share their works with spectators in a space for encounter, debate and re1ection. In fact, this initiative is also viewed as a forum to discuss the new challenges that contemporary photography is facing, where creators, experts and the general public can meet and foster innovative models of collaboration and sustainability that guarantee that the practice of photography remains relevant, committed and economically feasible. Descubrimientos PHE

Discoveries PHE is the professional platform for photographers organized by PHotoESPAÑA as part of each festival edition. This initiative offers selected photographers the opportunity to meet with national and international experts, providing a dedicated space to present their work to curators and publishers, receive personalized feedback, explore current trends in photography, share their projects within a creative community, and expand their professional network. An international jury will select the winner of Discoveries 2025, who will be awarded a solo exhibition in the next edition of the Festival.
