Javier Álvarez Beret, artistically known as Beret, is a Sevillian rap and reggae singer and composer. Born in 1996, his first steps in the world of music were taken by making his own home recordings, later publishing them on the YouTube platform. Currently he has 3 albums: Efímero, Vértigo and Prisma. The first came to light on digital platforms, but the second was published in disc format. In 2015 he participated in the famous Redbull Batalla de Gallos contest. It was from that moment, when the artist began to gain national recognition thanks to his successful positions such as Lo Siento, winner of song of the year at the 2019 LOS40 Music Awards. His lyrics talk about the need to improve himself and let off steam. Among his most listened to songs are Diez mil por qués, Bala perdida and Pandora. His YouTube channel has more than 15 million subscribers and his videos more than 40 million views.
