BLACKSTARS, the Galician band, was born as the largest tribute production to the British artist David Bowie, considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. With eight musicians on stage—Javier Martí (vocals), Peter Stone (guitar), Patricia Insua (bass), Manuel Andón (guitar), Sly (keyboards), Lex Tosca (drums), Manuel Rodríguez (saxophone and percussion), and Joana de Sousa (backing vocals)—the band recreates the vast universe of the Starman.
The production includes sound and lighting technicians to offer a meticulously crafted stage show worthy of the Thin White Duke. The goal is to offer the experience of feeling Bowie's sound live.
After visiting several capital cities, they begin 2026 with a tour that will take them to cities including Porto, Valladolid, Barcelona, Gijon, A Coruña, Bilbao, León, Santander, Valencia, Madrid, Seville…
