Miguel Rafael Martos Sánchez is a Spanish composer, singer and actor born in 1943. Better known by his artistic nickname Rapahel, he has become one of the most internationally known figures of the Spanish ballad and the country's best-seller, with more than 50 million copies sold and a symbolic uranium disc to his credit. Since he began his artistic career in the 60's, Raphael progressively increased his success by internationalizing the Spanish love song.

Armed with his distinctive dramatic flair and deep bass voice, Raphael has been wowing audiences around the world for over 50 years.

He has countless awards to his credit, has participated twice in the Eurovision gala, has been appearing sporadically on American programs since the 1970s, and has traveled the world on numerous occasions offering several global tours. In addition, he has appeared in almost a dozen well-known films, thus demonstrating his artistic versatility.
