Description
Women in mourning, confined under the iron fist and tyranny of Bernarda Alba. Widowed for the second time, Bernarda imposes her absolute authority without regard for the desires or emotions of her five daughters. Obsessed with maintaining appearances and her social standing, she will face the rebellion of the youngest, Adela, who will challenge the silence and repression that dominate the house. The interplay of what is said and what is left unsaid, the lies, the jealousy, the envy—a cocktail of misfortunes that will end in tragedy. Each woman is represented by a flamenco style.
