Habitat Museum that questions the categories and stories of the encyclopedic museum. Aline Motta (Niterói, 1974) and Philip Rizk (Xipre, 1982), from very different contexts, explore the archive, one of the central elements of this museum, to reconstruct silenced histories.

Based on an unprecedented analysis of the historical iconography and oral accounts of the family's own seva, visual artist Aline Motta creates a light hypothesis about the origin of the besàvia seva, which most likely goes back to Vassouras, the epicenter of Brazilian slavery.
