After 10 years in theaters, Opera y Flamenco is the most seen flamenco show in the history of Barcelona with more than 3.000.000 spectators.
Opera y Flamenco tells the tormentous love story between the flamenco dancers “bailaores”. Interpreted by their own souls, the soprano and the tenor. Sensual choreographies alternate with the most famous opera arias (“Casta Diva” by V. Bellini, Carmen by G. Bizet, Tosca by Puccini, La Bohème by G. Puccini, Il Trovatore by Verdi…) in a mixture of great aesthetics beauty between flamenco and grand lyric.

The Teatre Poliorama was inaugurated in 1906, it was built inside the building of “Real Academia de Ciencias y Artes” of Barcelona.
