A CERTAIN QUIXOTE by Cascai Teatre

Description

With Un Tal Quixot, we turn the immortal work of Cervantes into a delirious scenic adventure. A lecturer and an operator end up trapped in the universe of the knight of the Trista Figura i, gairebé sense voler, is transformed into Don Quixot and Sanxo Panza. Giant mills, liberated prisoners, absurd cavalleries and an idealized Dulcinea parade on a journey full of tendresa and deproposits, on friendship and freedom shine through the damunt of all.

The gestural humor, the energy of Marcel Tomàs and the participation of the public coexist with the most mythical universal literature. A fresh and sketchy comedy, designed for all audiences, that celebrates the power of imagination and reminds us that, sometimes, we only believe in sleep to have something bad.
