The dance show "Beyond the Darkness" represents a journey into a couple's relationship and the life that surrounds them.

A life marked by encounters, friendships and situations that go beyond their sentimental relationship. Very soon the protagonist will realize the darker side of her boyfriend that forces her to suffer his obsessions to the detriment of her personal freedom, makes her a victim of his domination and a continuous object of violence. Despite his persistent violent attitude, the woman tries to understand him in the hope that the relationship will change and he will change his way of being, allowing her to live in peace and tranquility.

The woman is surrounded by friends who try to help her so that she can free herself from this toxic relationship as soon as possible. He doesn't give up and often forces her to walk away from everything that makes her passionate and happy.

Fortunately, the woman, after experiencing the different episodes of violence, accepts the help of her friends and decides to face this violent and obsessive love, turning her back on it to definitively leave this destructive love story behind and live beyond darkness.

The choreography is characterized by the alternation of intense moments of violence and moments of closeness between the two protagonists, but it also highlights the presence of energetic pieces that focus attention on the meaning of life, a life made of joy, positive encounters, hope and affection that the friends transmit to the woman.

"Beyond the Darkness" chooses dance to spread a message of hope and courage to all women victims of sexist violence, who are not alone and who, at any sign of violence, ask for help.
