Description

GREEN PAJAMAS tells the story of l'Àngel, a recently graduated graduate, during the training stage at the General Surgery Residency. Helped by his conscience, personified as an androgynous lady, he will face situations, some intense and some completely surreal, upon arrival from his formation at the hospital. Arran de totes les experiències viscudes and després de una vitala d'elles, vital i determinant, he will make a decision that will mark his life forever.

The arrival of the Angel to the General and Digestive Surgery Specialty at the hospital, after taking the MIR exam, is not exactly as he imagined. He aviat he is trobarà amb Jimena, the attached metge that will supervise in an authoritative and despotic way all his movements like surgery and he will dominate all his severe professional and personal deficiencies. Joan, CoR (training company at the Hospital de l'Ángel) will become his only hope and salvation, together with his consciousness personified by him, in the midst of the vortex of depression, stress, anxiety and bogeria of the protagonist.

The index of suicide to the collective of metges, the mental disorders with anxiety, the depression or malaltís perfectionism, the lack of resources to the health system for their workers, the slavery of the surgical resident and the pseudo-day day, the mobing, the homosexuality, the existential crisis, the expectations and the prey of vital decisions, the hope of betting on the passion, death from the perspective of surgery, the value of life, love or death; These are some of the themes that are dealt with in this musical comedy that subtly invites reflection and social criticism.
