Llums i ombres workshop: collage and cinema as self-representation

The exhibition Jaime Camino. Not so press! It complements both projections and parallel activities with this workshop proposed by the plastic artist Isis Navarro.

The workshop included a guided tour of the exhibition hall and a workshop at the Cinema Library (total duration 2 hours).
The artist Isis Navarro will give this workshop inspired by the work of the filmmaker Jaime Camino and the exhibition dedicated to the autobiographical look of his seva filmography. The participants will create collages to turn them into the poster for their own film. A way to analyze and see our own “llums and ombres”, as indicated by the title of the Camino film, guidelines for the aesthetics and the images of the posters of the films that the reconegut will devise on the second day designer America Sanchez.

A proposal for people with curiosity about cinema and collage and with the desire to experiment and play with the reference of Jaime Camino in the framework of the exhibition “Not so in the press”.

Isis Navarro, plastic artist of collage and mixed techniques, understands art as self-conception therapy. She is a biologist by training, she is going to study illustration applied to graphic design at IDEP and illustration at Llotja.

She has exhibited at festivals of contemporary art and has carried her collages in large formats at festivals of urban art, always in the continuous near noves tècniques d’expression.
