MIGUEL NOGUERA "ULTRASHOW"

Description

In the Ultrashow I explain around 20 or 30 ideas or mental images, one after the other and without caring too much about the order.

It lasts about an hour and twenty minutes and I'm alone on stage. The ideas that I use in the show are selected from the material of notes and drawings that I make daily. It's a funny show although the ideas don't have to be funny in themselves. To develop certain ideas I use images projected on a screen (my own drawings, images found on the Internet and photographs taken with my mobile). The tone of the speech can be vehement (like that of a televangelist or totalitarian leader), and sometimes it becomes soft and informal (like that of a teenage student). Although I have written down the titles of the ideas I want to communicate on a piece of paper and explain the same material for several months, Ultrashow is a monologue with improvised passages and unexpected ramblings, halfway between a lecture and a play. The Ultrashow begins with a brief improvised song (the content and incidents of which I comment on immediately after having sung it) and ends with the reading of a self-referential farewell text.

The Ultrashow begins with an impromptu song breu (the contingut and incidents that I comment immediately after the haver-ho chant) and ends with the reading of a self-referential comic text.
