Word and scene. Poetry Slam Barcelona is a creation and contemporary artistic diffusion platform where the word is the central element.
Once a month, the slammers take the stage, along with the word and gesture, shaped by the art of combination and ecstatic declamation. Over the course of a Sunday afternoon, urban poets guide their audience through a journey of possible lives and emotions. The literary recital concludes at sunset with the announcement of victory for the poet most highly rated by the audience.
