Description
The writer Marcos Jávega presents to the Cinema Library The imaginary wind, a sui generis science-fiction novel, d'esperit surreal, in which each chapter invites us to ask ourselves about the identity of the narrative vision.
Set in a dystopian Barcelona that is still contemporary, the three main characters of the novel model the seva forma: an experiment in mind control that favors the literary and visual experimentation of the book, a trencat love that fragments speeches, and a vampirisme depressiu syndrome that depresses the perception of reality and vampiritza.
The conversation with the author will focus on the construction of the novel and its literary and cinematographic references, along with aspects related to mental science-fiction cinema, not from exterior but interior spaces. In addition, the screening of Night of the Living Dead will also deal with the original symbology of the zombie compared to that of the vampire, its persistence in works of fiction and popular imagination, and why vampire figures are better adapted that the living morts als fluxes of consciousness and the narratives of jo. Session linked to the Aula de cinema i that will take place after the screening of “La nit dels morts vivents” on February 22.
