SONUS DELAY + RUGELAJOYA (Progressive Rock) SONUS DELAY is a progressive rock band from Madrid born in 2002, and currently formed by Jiro Suárez (Vocals), Juanjo Vegas and Roy García (Guitars), Félix Alonso (Bass) and Javier Álvarez (Drums). His main influences are melodic metal, rock and post rock, reflected in a very personal style of melodic voices mixed with powerful guitars and enveloping atmospheres. His discography began at the end of 2008 with the recording of his first LP "La Durmiente" at the prestigious Cube studios in Madrid, under the joint production of Carlos Escobedo and Alberto Seara. This debut was followed by his second album “Umbra Versa” in 2013 and “Superesse” in 2022, both recorded at Subvox Recordings studios, with his own production. The band has toured almost the entire Spanish geography in the various presentations of their first two albums, and has won important national awards, or has been a finalist, such as the Villa de Bilbao Pop-Rock Contest, the Rock & Sax, the Mediatic Festival or the Fiestas de La Elipa Contest, among others. In 2022 he begins a new stage with the presentation of his third work “Superesse”, the most personal and defining of his style. And it is that, if something characterizes Sonus Delay, it is the enormous personality of its music, which makes its sound recognized from the first moment.
