Nathalie Álvarez Mesén, Costa Rica, 2021, 1h 46min, VOSI [DCP] Clara, 40, is believed to have a special connection with God. As a "healer," she supports a family and a people in need of hope, while she finds comfort in her relationship with the natural world. After years of being controlled by the repressive care of her mother, Clara's sexual desires are stirred by being attracted to her niece's new boyfriend. This newly awakened force takes Clara into uncharted territory, allowing her to cross boundaries, both physical and mystical. With the power of her self-discovery, Clara gradually frees herself from her role as "saint" and begins to heal herself.
