Film "Flowers in shade"

Description

In January, Flores En La Sombra recovers a paradigmatic film by Juan Carlos Olaria, "El Diario Rojo" (1982) with adapted subtitles.
The director embarked on the production of this film in 1982 in response to criticism of his earlier feature film, “Man chased by a UFO.” Before it went on display, a producer gave her such a devastating review that she chose to keep the film in a drawer and forget about it.
Almost forty years later, it was digitized in the laboratories of Filmoteca Española and projected for the first time in Madrid, in a "Room: B" session of the #cineDoré.
Now come to our online sessions to remember that the history of cinema is full of works that, for reasons as human and industrial, have remained (or remain) in the shadows.
