This immersive experience invites us to travel through the solar system accompanied by some of the space probes that have photographed its planets and many of their satellites.
For millennia, the planets were just tiny points of light to us. With the invention of the telescope, we could observe the bands of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn, and little by little, satellites of these planets were discovered. But any attempt to depict what the landscape of other worlds would look like fell, with greater or lesser success, into the realm of science fiction.
Over sixty years of space exploration, all the planets in the solar system and many of their satellites have been photographed. Aside from their scientific value, these images present us with landscapes never before imagined. Thus, today we were able to see in detail the giant volcanoes of Mars, the rings of Saturn, the surface of the Churyumov-Gerasimenko comet, the impressive frozen deserts of Europe, the methane lakes of Titan, the vertiginous cliffs of Miranda, and the geysers of Enceladus, among many other incredible "postcards" that our solar system offers us.
