With a professional career of more than six decades, José Sacristán, face and voice of the history and present of Spanish cinema, has received the honorary recognition awarded by the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain for being, in words of who was president of the institution until 2022, Mariano Barroso, "a model of dedication, passion, ethics and professionalism for all young filmmakers, and a colleague much loved by all, who has been able to move forward from the reflex which has brought us back to the screen some of the great changes we have experienced in our cinema and in our society".

Aleshores emprèn un viatge en què creuarà Argentina, vagarejant per carreteres secundàries sense cap itinerari fix. Aviat se li afegirà una dona que ha trobat en la ruta.
