LA BIEN QUERIDA

Description

La Bien Querida has a long and established musical career dating back to 2009, when she released her first album, Romancero. This was followed by Fiesta, Ceremonia, Premeditación, Nocturnidad y Alevosía, Fuego, Brujería, and Paprika (2022).

She has played at the most important festivals in the country, such as Primavera Sound, FiB, BBK Live, and Sonár Barcelona, and critics praise her with each album she releases for her unique and personal way of telling and singing about life and love. Her collaborations with great artists such as French artist Vitalic, Los Planetas, and Diego Ibañez of Carolina Durante stand out.

Her songs are featured in the soundtracks of countless series such as Élite, Paquita Salas, Vida Perfecta, La Casa de Las Flores, Valeria, Todo lo Otro, and Express, for which she created the theme song. She has also composed songs for films such as Loco por Ella and On the GO, and for documentaries such as Yo no Soy Esa and Mucha Mierda (which premieres this year at the San Sebastián Film Festival). She has worked with her music on television campaigns for major brands such as Lotería Nacional, Sanitas, Vogue, and El Corte Inglés, and has been interviewed on prime-time programs such as La Resistencia and El Hormiguero. A few months ago, HBO premiered a documentary/acoustic concert about her life and career. La Bien Querida has also dabbled in film, starring in actor and director Omar Ayuso's debut short film, "Matar a la Madre," and Guillermo de Córdoba's "Anormal." She is currently preparing her eighth studio album, which will be released in 2025.
