Description

Born in Rochester (New York) in the midst of a family with a great musical tradition, Monica Green is about to start professionally as a singer-songwriter in recording studios. Her powerful presence and her presence on her stages will be taken to Atlanta (Geòrgia, USA) where she will work with various artists.

She has lived and worked in Spain since 1987. She is going to record her first LP as a soloist, which will be released in Europe in 1991 under the name “Soul Shoes”, a great success that will cover the ports of the Spanish market. Three years later she will record her second album “Sayonara” with which she will win the Cadena Ser prize for the artist revealed by any person. In 1996 she co-starred with Àngels Gonyalons in the Sheldon Epps musical “Blues en la Nit” directed by Ricard Riguant.

The show will be highly acclaimed by the public and critics, and will consecrate Monica Green as one of the most gifted and powerful singers in our country. Later, at the expense of Frank Mercader and Gemma Recoder, she will return to repeat her experience and success with the musical “Cues de Pansa”, which will be on the bill for a year.

Since her llavors, she has appeared on countless television and radio programs, she has performed with her other band throughout the country and has collaborated in recordings, concerts and benefit programs with other artists.
