In the raucous musical universe, Vicente Calderón emerges as a rogue sonic explosion, a group that challenges the norms with a laughing insolence directed at everyone and, above all, at themselves. Formed in early 2022, the band debuted in the spring of that same year, bringing their music full of intensity, rhythm, and energy to various venues in Madrid, Bilbao, and Benidorm. Their style is characterized by fresh guitars and casual lyrics, creating an original and captivating sound.

Their sound is a prank designed especially for enjoyment among friends. With influences rooted in the irreverent spirit of Blur, Vicente Calderón has created a unique blend. They debut on Subterfuge in January 2024 with "Dinero, Droga, Documentación." Their choruses are brimming with irony and sarcasm, inviting the audience to join in the choreography of shared mockery. This has been demonstrated by their recent singles such as "Costa Marrón," "Number 1," "Porno," and "Última Fiesta." Finally, on January 31, 2025, they will release Vicente Calderón, their long-awaited first album, on vinyl and digitally. A letter of love and heartbreak written from the outskirts of Madrid with sharp guitars, sing-along choruses, and soulful lyrics. Ten carefully crafted songs on an emotional journey that encapsulates the everyday, from the melancholy of looking out the window when love feels endless, to the euphoria of sharing it all with friends in a small apartment living room.
