JUNE 5, 2021 - WANDA METROPOLITAN Today four-time Grammy Award-winning band Aerosmith have announced the dates for their 2020 European tour which will kick off on Saturday June 13th in Milan, Italy as part of the iDays festival before moving on to the rest of Europe, stopping in different countries including Sweden, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Poland, England, Hungary and Denmark before concluding in Germany on July 27, 2020. The one and only Aerosmith, Steven Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (lead guitar), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums) are a living part of music history. With over 150 million records sold worldwide, countless awards and inductees into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame, there is little this band hasn't accomplished in its five-decade history. They have received a host of awards, including four GRAMMY® Awards, eight American Music Awards, six Billboard Awards and 12 MTV Video Music Awards, as well as breaking genre barriers by winning the Soul Train Award for Best Rap Single for the remix of Run DMC's “Walk This Way”. In January, Aerosmith will be honored by the Recording Academy as the 2020 MusiCares® Person of the Year. With dozens of multi-platinum albums, Aerosmith continues to inspire generations to this day by making them one of the most beloved bands of all time. In 2020, the legacy continues as Aerosmith celebrates 50 years of its formation with a series of concerts across the European continent from Italy to Germany. This monumental 50th anniversary European tour will follow Aerosmith's popular Las Vegas residency Deuces Are Wild, which began in April 2019 and continues through June 4, 2020. More than 50 dates at MGM Park have given him the band #1 on the Billboard charts and #2 on the Hot Tours chart. Aerosmith's influence on rock music and the music industry are undeniable. The band achieved several feats such as nine number ones on the Mainstream Rock charts and the only debut of a rock group at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", the group American band with the most gold albums, the American band with the most certifications (including gold, platinum and multi-platinum), and tied with Van Halen for the American bands with the most multi-platinum albums.
