La Femme, the genre-bending French band led by Marlon Magnée and Sacha Gott, will return to Spain in 2025 to present their new album, Rock Machine.
May 20th at Razzmatazz in Barcelona and May 21st at La Riviera in Madrid.
With Rock Machine, their sixth studio album, this time entirely in English, La Femme returns to their roots and their first love, new wave, which they've fused with an Anglo-Saxon rock sound from the 80s and 90s in their recent works. The highly anticipated album, due out October 11th, was written while touring around the world. Their electro-arena-rock sound is poised to conquer an even wider international audience.
La Femme continues to create a unique and challenging universe, faithful to their distinctive sound and aesthetic through the tracks: the first single, "Ciao Paris," is a symbolic farewell to France with nods to '60s YéYé pop and a touch of electro-surf. In "Clover Paradise," the band takes us to a dark and captivating dance floor.
With "Love Is Over," they present a new wave ballad reminiscent of '90s Manchester bands. "Venus" is an irresistible fusion of The Velvet Underground and The Mamas and the Papas. In addition to rock and synthwave sounds, there's also a touch of electro in "Sweet Babe," a touch of disco with a dash of British punk in "My Generation," and many other surprises.
The authors of hits like 'Sur La Planche 2013', 'Où Va Le Monde' and 'Elle Ne t'aime Pas' return to Spain, a country where their concerts have always been synonymous with fun, great songs and memorable moments.
