Description
Rojuu was so young when he uploaded his first songs that he still seems young. We'd have to calculate his exact age, but it doesn't really matter: he's been waiting for us in the future for a long time, sending us messages from there. By the time they reach us and we manage to decode them, he's already somewhere else, ready to send the next one.
In reality, he's always been ahead of his time. He was already like that when, at 10 years old, he started a YouTube channel where he recommended new trap artists within a community whose codes were being generated on the fly. Rojuu was part of the scene even before the scene existed: from his corner of the internet, he helped us understand many things that came later and some others that, for now, we've only been able to imagine. Releasing his own music was simply a matter of time.
The first turning point was Bad Trip Camp in 2019, which at the time was his second mixtape. And something clicked: a definitive breach opened through which new music would subsequently seep, blending cloud rap, digital punk, emo revival, and hyperpop—a generational soundtrack that reaches its peak in works like Roku Roku, KOR KOR LAKE, and Los Sueños de Nube, and which he recently expanded with iNUiNUiNU, his new mixtape. His latest move to further solidify his cult artist status.
Rojuu will present iNUiNUiNU on a Spanish tour that will take him to Madrid (La Riviera) on December 8, Bilbao (Santana) on January 9, Seville (Pandora) on February 7, Valencia (Moon) on March 13, and Barcelona (Razzmatazz) on March 14.
