Description
Aida (Greek Theater of Taormina)
A unique cinematographic experience that fuses the majesty of Verdi's opera with the incomparable setting of the Sicilian ruins and the Etna volcano with a backdrop. One of the most spectacular productions of Aida by Giuseppe Verdi, captured from the emblematic Teatre Greco of Taormina. Unlike traditional productions in tancat theaters, this Aida takes advantage of the millennial architecture of the Greek theater of Sicily. The camera becomes a privileged spectator, capturing not only the dramatic intensity of the soloists, but the imposing presence of Mount Etna. The famous Gran Marxa Triomfal is displayed with a choreographic magnitude that takes on a new dimension on the big screen, allowing the public to appreciate details of costumes and scenery that are not lost in the direct.
