It's much more than a film club: it's a meeting point for those of us who understand cinema as a living, shared human experience. Each series revolves around a universal theme—childhood, memory, migration, war, beauty, or family—and invites us to rediscover the power of the seventh art as a mirror of life and as a space for intergenerational dialogue.

In each session, three selected films address the theme from diverse perspectives. An expert offers us the keys to fully enjoyment, and after the screening, we open the discussion: we talk about what moved us or made us think, and what cinema can say when words fail. And to close each series, a fourth session as a surprise: a debate with specialists, a film screening with live music, a short performance.

Tiempo de cine aims to build, city by city, a network of perspectives that fuel a shared passion: cinema as a universal language and as a space for shared knowledge. Designed especially for senior audiences—but also open to curious viewers—it's a combination of unforgettable classics with contemporary titles that resonate with us today. Beyond the screening itself, it's an invitation to think together; to listen to each other and participate; to reclaim cinema as that collective experience where emotions, memories, and ideas converge to give rise to a transformative reflection.
