Nanpa Básico has become the standard by which modern Colombian rap is measured, thanks to his ability to make raw, energetic music, without holds barred or self-censorship. His street-conscious lyrics are delivered with hip-hop, reggae, and regional influences, bringing vulnerability to social critiques and romance to rap. With more than 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Nanpa has released hits like "Canela," a collaboration with Charles Ans that has garnered over 200 million streams on Spotify and over 160 million views on YouTube, and songs like "Hasta Aquí Llegué," "Los No Tan Tristes," "Sin Ti No Estoy Bien," and "Flaca," which are now considered modern-day classics. He has also collaborated with national artists such as Nach, Rayden, ZPU, and Lia Kali on his viral single "Volvernos a Amar."

Throughout his extensive musical career, Nanpa Básico has released nine studio albums, garnering a large number of successful singles.
