Media space “A garden for Rodoreda”

If you tried to imagine a garden for Mercè Rodoreda, what would it be? Which flowers will we plant and what will we explain? This space invites us to create flowers using the collage technique to create a collective garden inspired by the writer's literary imagination.
Flowers are a constant presence in Mercè Rodoreda's work: mimoses, wisteria, carnations, violets, chrysanthemums... But they are just flowers. They are ambivalent symbols, a disturbing, beautiful and mysterious force. We propose to explore your poetic universe, invent new ones, re-detail, combine images and give shape to your flower using the collage technique.

The media space of the exhibition “Rodoreda, un bosc” is inspired by the floral imagination that runs through the author's work and, especially, in Flors de debò: trenta-vuit poetic processes that she wrote during her exile in Geneva.

In addition to participating in the artistic proposal designed by The access is available at the entrance to the exhibition.
