Exclusive commented visit by the Friends of the CCCB to the Teresa Montaner commissariat, head of collections of the Fundació Joan Miró i l'Elena Escolar, of the collections department and collaborator at the commissariat.
This new presentation of the Collection is part of the inseparable binomial integration of work and space that structures the tour and gives meaning to each room.

The project is inspired by a portfolio of work that Miró kept between the second half of the fifties and the beginning of the sixties, preserved in the valuable archive of drawings that the artist will donate to the Foundation.

In this renewed journey, Sert's architecture assumes an essential role. The artist and the architect work together to conceive specific countries for specific works, and this logic becomes clear: the building determines rhythms, perspectives and boundaries that activate the gaze.
