Synopsis:

Hanan, the mother of a young Palestinian man, sits across from Ari, a young Israeli man with whom her son's fate is deeply intertwined. Between them, there are no slogans or speeches, only the desire to make sense of something that should never have happened. Hanan needs Ari to know who his family was. Through her story, we journey through three generations of a Palestinian family from 1948 to the present day. A story of everyday lives, of love, intimate celebrations, and difficult decisions that intertwine with the historical events that mark the passage of time. When everything seems to divide, can a profoundly human gesture reconcile a historic conflict?
